On a pleasant Friday night I went to Adega do Monte for the first time, where it was calm and peaceful.Impeccable staff, excellent food and very good service from the young guy who works there!best cream milk in the world, I highly recommend it!!!!!5* is not enough!!!

I had lunch at Adega do Monte and tried the cabidela rice. Cooked perfectly, rice perfectly cooked and a very balanced flavor. It was a fantastic gastronomic experience and I highly recommend trying it.

Very friendly manager/owner, as he arranged the best table for our family with our baby.Homely atmosphere and food to match.Homemade meals, with very good sababulho porridge.Good wine collection.
Parking: Location with little parking in the summer months and/or on hot weekends.Oldest place in the city.
Wheelchair accessibility: Some difficulty walking, old and cramped roads.

Disappointment. Nice location on the square. Direct Picana meat, probably pre-cooked and reheated. Side dish of fried potatoes, unseasoned boiled rice, black beans without flavor, poor in quantity and quality. I asked for a glass of wine and they brought me half a bottle without warning. Salty bill! €30 for 1 dish (poor), 3 pieces of bread and wine. Elsewhere, same menu, much better quality, I don't spend more than €15. In Porto...not in Burundi...Never again!
A family operated gem. Should not be missed. Traditional Portuguese dishes, mostly grilled on wood fire. Grilled octopus is fork tender and so fresh it tastes of the sea. Grilled Secreto (pork) is smoky delicious. Staff are delightful, especially the owner. Atmosphere can't be beat. Underneath the aquaduct and beside the monastery. About $75 USD for salad, grilled octopus, grilled beef, bread, olives, empanadas, a bottle of duoro wine and two glasses of port. Way too much food for two but we finished it all.

They charge €2.50 for olive oil. Besides consuming expensive food and expensive wine, you still have to pay for OLIVE OIL!?I've never seen anything so unfriendly!!!There is a place with better value for money in Vila do Conde!
