A great place to eat on the water front. We came across this restaurant whilst walking past and decided to give it a try. We are glad we did. We were seated inside on a very hot day which was ideal. The waiter was very friendly and guided us through the menu. For a starter we had olives, a selection of breads with tuna pate. For the main we shared the local cod dish with prawns etc., topped with potatoes. This was delicious and we ate the whole dish !. For desert we had the tart which the waiter poured whisky on which made for a superb finish !. We also had a bottle of the local white wine. We would definitely visit again.

Nice place, friendly staff but we ordered octopus à lagareiro and waited more than an hour. After waiting, they came to tell us that the octopus was finished. He suggested a quicker dish, fish fillets, of course we accepted. They brought four cod cakes to make up for the wait (and they were not added to our bill). The fillets were great, it's true. We looked at the dessert menu but gave up, paid and won't be back.
