I went to a dinner on a Sunday in August, a full house, the dinner was for around 20 people, so there were several simultaneous and different orders. The confusion was total. Some table orders were lost, it took more than an hour to serve some people. The waitress, when asked about the delay, said she didn't know when people would be served. Really bad service.

We arrived around 7:30 pm, ordered an alheira on the plate and a Prego on the plate. Prego had a very thin steak, poorly seasoned and dry and burnt on the edges. The fries were very hard and the egg was full of oil. The alheira was well prepared, but the potatoes were bad as they were poorly fried. The service leaves a lot to be desired. I won't go back there again.

On a Tuesday night waiting for more than 1:15 minutes for food is regrettable, making excuses such as, the cook is not there, the boss only arrived now is even more regrettable. If they are having problems, they should inform them before, not after and only when asked. With so many other options in the area, they continue to shoot themselves in the foot, in my case, they won't fool me again! Today it was crossed off the list! I hope they continue to be very successful, but honestly they need to consciously look at the things they don't do well and do something to improve.

For the second time, in a very short space of time, I waited 40 minutes for my meal in an almost empty restaurant. (Lunch time) I can't understand how people who arrive much later place the same order as us and are served more quickly. The justification is always the same, the order never goes to the kitchen.

Very good food, but the service, despite the friendliness of the girls, is very, very slow and with the house empty, the first time I went we ordered garlic bread as a starter, French fries, a prego de seia (fantastic) and a wrap , the potatoes arrived after half an hour, I asked the girl if she had forgotten the garlic bread, she said it was coming, we waited another 10 minutes for the garlic bread and another 20 for the prego and the wrap we ordered mayonnaise which never came, the second time I went waiting time and the third time the same with the difference that they only brought the garlic bread that was supposed to be for starters when we were already finishing the meal ?.

The food offers are interesting. The place is well located.
However there is an issue with the staff, especially the girls, and I mean all of them. They don't pay attention to the customers or their requests. Barely do any follow up when stuff is missing.
If the owner/manager is present at all (didn't notice anyone doing any managing all of the times I have been there) then he needs to pay more attention to the waiters and go around the room and terrace to check on customers.
The service is very inconsistent and the complaints that I see here regarding the waiting times, tables that are available for waiting guests that are not informed and dirty tables have all been observed by myself too.
The feeling I have is that the place has great potential, the kitchen staff seems to work very hard but the waiters end up ruining part of the experience. And these details are being missed by management.
Regarding the food complaints that I see here, most of them are unfair and it comes down to people not knowing how to order... Or how to eat...
Summing it up, the fact that the place has a high volume of customers (because the food is obviously good) and not enough waiters that are well trained, means waiting times and missed requests.
The feeling that I have is that most of the waiters have zero experience / training, are basically here for a short duration "summer job", do not care about the customers or the service, and unable to manage the volume of customers.
