We celebrated my birthday on August 6th at Portuguesia, and it was a wonderful experience, as always. The food here is exceptional, reminiscent of the traditional dishes our grandmothers used to make. Each bite transports us back to the comforting flavors of home-cooked meals, capturing the essence of authentic Portuguese cuisine.
The quality of the dishes is consistently impressive, from the rich, flavorful rojões to the perfectly seasoned cod and veal. Each dish is prepared with the utmost care, showcasing Portugal's culinary heritage.
In addition to the excellent food, the service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, friendly and made our dining experience really special. It's clear they pride themselves on providing excellent service and ensuring every customer feels welcome.
Portuguesia continues to be our favorite restaurant for family celebrations, and it never disappoints. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a taste of authentic Portuguese cuisine in a warm and inviting environment.

Usually the reviews of the restaurants we visit are mainly based on what we eat. Since the discrepancy between price and quality is so large this time, the evaluation falls more on the relationship between the two. We ordered "Arroz de tamboril" for 2 people for 49€. It was seasoned enough, tasted satisfying and was definitely not too much, see photo. Was worth it? In my opinion not because the prices are significantly more demanding than the service, be it for the starters, main courses or drinks. Highlight: The service. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. Low point: Poor wine list. Unfortunate to mention the fact that a certain wine selectable in the menu was not available. In a restaurant with an upscale price range, it would be expected that either the menu would be updated or the wine inventory would be managed more professionally. Not recommended!

I liked everything about this restaurant ? From the environment to the staff, everything was very peaceful and pleasant. The food uses fresh products, well prepared and very tasty. The starters are also great, I particularly enjoyed the fritters and the homemade garlic butter. Everything to be accompanied with a great white wine sangria. On a hot day, the terrace is an asset. Returning surely.
