We had breakfast as soon as we arrived in Santa María and we ate the last day we spent on the island. Without a doubt, the best quality/price on the island. Don't expect typical dishes, but abundant, good and at a good price. The waitress has treated us great both times we have been. Many variety on the menu for all tastes!

Travessa has the best draft beer I've ever had, plus it comes from below and not from above, the way they make it, just go there and ask for one. It's called A Nossa, there are several types, more bitter, less bitter with more or less alcohol, 7.5 is the maximum, I advise you to try it. Burgers are some of the best I've ever eaten, they have a great list full of good things, like pitas, wraps, crepes among the dish of the day and the sweets are great. Marc, the owner, is friendly, always attentive and has a nice word to say, very hardworking. We've been there several times. I recommend

A very modern, American-like vibe. The decor was all updated and the menu was massive -- like a novel/American diner!
I didnt know the Greco burger came bun-less but it was surprisingly good and well seasoned. We also order the classic cheesburger which was good but nothing special.
For dessert, we ordered one apple, cinnamon, chocolate crepe with strawberry ice cream. For 5-ish Euros it was incredibly tasty and a great deal! We couldnt stop eating it.
The servers were very attentative despite a very busy night and we were lucky to get a table with no reservation since we arrived before 18:00.

A great restaurant on Santa Maria! Their menu has a lot of variety and they have great options for vegetarians. This restaurant is owned by a German man who also brews and sells his own line of beer and kombucha (!) - both absolutely delicious. Service and prices were super too! Highly recommend.
