O Forno is a highly recommended restaurant known for its excellent food quality and service. The cozy, local atmosphere creates a pleasant dining experience. While parking can be challenging, the food, such as the spectacular shad with fish roe, the excellent prawn chord, cod torricado, and lamb chops, make it a worthwhile destination for a special occasion. The place is charming and the food is divine, with the sirloin steak coming without a hint of fat, perfectly cooked, and the monkfish rice being very good. The service is the best part, spectacular and extremely attentive. The Arroz do Tamboril (monkfish rice) is described as the absolute hammer, the best in Portugal, and the wine selection is also very good. Free parking is available within walking distance.
