Aan de buitenkant verwacht je niet veel, maar als je binnen komt is het een drukte en gezelligheid ten top. Vooral locals. De bediening was erg vriendelijk . De bifana (broodje met dun lapje varkensvlees) was heerlijk.
This place is both a restaurant and a cafe, belongs to the volunteer fire department. The locals eat here, the food is freshly prepared and tastes normal. Food is only served there at lunchtime, you can also eat there in the evening. On the beautiful large terrace you have a wonderful view in all directions. Prices are local. We didn't want starters.
The food, well, I hear a lot about the "famous" French dish of this establishment but I can only say that I didn't think it was anything special, quite the opposite, very banal indeed. There are much better ones on the Island. However, I can say that it was well prepared and edible.
We didn't want dessert either.
The service, we were well served, without pressure, very friendly, very fast.
