We have been going to Bela Vista for over a decade. Every time we come to Portugal, it’s our go-to restaurant. Jorge the owner sources and grills to perfection the best black pork we have ever eaten! We have enjoyed many Michelin starred and top restaurants around the world, but nobody does black pork as well as Jorge. The atmosphere is friendly, and the decor simple and clean. Christina, Jorge’s wife, is always very welcoming and friendly. We go back every time for wonderful black pork.

De indruk bij aankomst is zeer slordig. Autowrak (niet ongewoon zodra men de Belgische taalgrens overschrijdt richting zuiden!), kattenboel die liggen, lopen, springen ... De eetzaal echter is zeer netjes, ordelijk en groot pluspunt : de nutteloze TV staat niet aan. De vrouw des huizes bereidt eenvoudige, smakelijke gerechten. Echtgenoot-ober is attent, soms een beetje té. Overmorgen gaan we er voor de derde keer avondmalen.

Far from everything, they don't accept card payments and there are no ATMs nearby. I ordered pork lizards and they were very hard and tasteless. Very slow service. The salad was saved. I don't recommend it as there is much better and cheaper.
