We ordered Alheira and Picanha à la Brasileira.
The alheira was excellent and we ate very well.
However, the picanha was terrible and didn't look like picanha at all. We asked about it and they told us it was a "new type of picanha from the supplier". It's a picanha that tastes and looks like pig, but hey, maybe it was a pig that "identifies" as a cow...

We ordered a sangria and the fruit in it was so weird, looked rotten or with chocolate. They said it was because the fruit was frozen, but I've done sangria with frozen fruit and it didn't look like this. We ordered steer meat and it arrived too raw and the "Alentejo meat" was hard and tasteless. Ordered a panacota that had cookie crumbs (??), terrible food. The service is the only good thing. Also too hot inside.

We chose this restaurant because it had roast lamb and fried shad on the menu. Furthermore, it is located in the center of Vila Nova de Cerveira, with a small terrace overlooking the Church Square and the wall.
We especially liked the fried shad.
A dish that I tried for the first time and that exceeded my expectations.
The doses are generous.

We went to eat 6 people, but we ate 5, with 1 person who couldn't eat because the plate that tasted of choco turned out to be very bad (the food was bad) and we had to return it to the kitchen. Nadie del personal began to apologize for this crime, I insist, having a person who left without eating from the place. Furthermore, we were waiting more than 1 hour for the food. The rest of the dishes were good, of average quality. I wouldn't recommend it.

There were 6 people eating, but 5 of us ate, there was 1 person who couldn't eat because the cuttlefish dish he ordered arrived smelling really bad (the food was bad) and we had to return it to the kitchen. The only thing that was good was the coffee and wine.
The sardines were good.
The chicken was dry and even above half a chicken they charge it at 9.50 when that is what they charge for a chicken. The rice looked like soup.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SITE AT ALL! We are Portuguese and this is something we have never seen before.

We ordered fried sardines and rice with feijão. As sardines were better or rice was a soup with cabbage. Or dry frango and ainda for top or very high price! Meio frango 9.50 ?
The pão was dry for two days…
