Octopus in poor condition, and arrogant owner, if I could I would give 0 stars.
Everything was delicious, the fish, the potatoes, the vegetables, the olive oil, the house wine, the coconut dessert, the coffee. Would return.

The food, the service, the hospitality is fantastic. We have eaten here each time we come to Covas. The son of the owner (forgot to ask him his name) is a real patron of the restaurant, attentive, speaks fantastic English which puts our attempt at Portuguese to shame.

The food is very good, but you pay for the BREAD for the pates that they put on you and above all do not ask for water, a bottle of a liter and a half €4.60I have never been charged so much for water.

Extremely rude owner. Totally refused to let us bring our small dog into the huge, and empty, outside dining area. I understand that restaurants may have a no-dogs policy, but the owner just shouted over his shoulder as he walked away, without bothering to explain.
Excellent food. Attentive and friendly service. However, it's not cheap, but it's good!
