Simply a spectacle! A nice surprise for us who were looking for a good francesinha in Vila Nova de Famalicão. No more trips to Porto to eat a francesinha. Fast, efficient and friendly service. Place to avoid. Francesinha is far below expectations, the sauce is too sweet, the sausage is from a can, and the price is completely out of line with the quality. The price list is a real mess and we were misled by paying much more than we were supposed to. We didn't eat olives or bread but they insisted on putting it on the bill, which immediately represents a lack of seriousness.

Restaurant did not live up to expectations at all. The menu features “normal francesinha” for €7, “francesinha without egg and potatoes” for €10.50 and “francesinha with potatoes” for €11.00. Since we don't understand the difference between the 1st and 2nd option above, we asked the employee. He said that he did not understand the difference and that they were the same. Given the employee's opinion, we decided to opt for 5 “normal francesinhas” and 2 doses of potatoes. We enjoyed the francesinha. For us, with too much ketchup in the sauce, the steak too well done and the canned sausage but acceptable. When we went to pay, we were met with a “surprise”. What had been said as “the same” by the employee, after all, was not at all the same, said by the restaurant owner, a little convenient, by the way. From the order initially made “5 normal francesinhas plus 2 doses of potatoes”, nothing arrived correctly in the box. We were charged “5 francesinhas without eggs and potatoes and 1 serving of potatoes”, completely different from what had been mentioned by the employee. In other words, based on the menu and the employee's statements, we would have paid €42.00, we ended up paying €56.00 and, according to our idea, the correct charge would have been €53.50. Note that when they charged €56, we enjoyed 5 francesinhas and 1 serving of potatoes (as opposed to the 2 servings we supposedly ordered). If 2 francesinhas with potatoes and 3 normal ones had been ordered, €53.50 would have been paid (which would result in an order equal to the one enjoyed). On the other hand, if 5 francesinhas with potatoes had been ordered (thus enjoying 2.5 doses of potatoes, instead of the 1 enjoyed) we would have paid €55. In other words, the employee's error and lack of information caused an error that became advantageous for the establishment. For us, it is recommended that whoever takes care of the cash register also takes care of the orders. The person who clears the tables, takes care of the cashier, creates a conflict that resulted in dissatisfaction with our experience. Unfortunately, we won't be repeating it.

Very good Francesinha, the potatoes were very tasty, you can tell they are homemade potatoes. The sauce was super balanced, with a spectacular touch of spicy, and it's not that pasty sauce, very liquid and tasty.

1. Took them 8 minutes to ask what we were drinking (small group of 5 people)2. No ice for drinks3. Food is ok - average for the price paid (13 per person)4. Charged for starters we did not even touch and asked in the first place. We paid because we pity business owners with such attitude.
