We went to dinner on the recommendation of a tour guide, the truth is that the dinner was delicious but they took out all the fish at once and most of it was cold. The waiter recommended the sea bream but when we grilled it open it became very dry, the sardines and the espetada were super delicious, the bad thing is what I said, that when I took it all out together it remained cold.
Be careful, they only accept Portuguese cards so if you don't have cash and don't have a Portuguese credit card this is definitely not your place.
Something that made me feel quite bad is that as soon as you sit down they bring you a salad, some starters and bread, they charge you for all of this without even asking for it.
In short, recommended for some sardines but not recommended for the treatment and the method of payment.

Do not visit unless you want to argue with the owner, tourist trap. You ask if they accept cards when you sit down, they say yes and then they say no, only cash. The portions are not the fish they have on the counter, but much smaller. They have almost nothing on the menu. You ask them to take what they give you as an appetizer, they pretend they don't notice and in the end they want to charge you for it. Unpleasant treatment, a lot of tourists and no locals. There was a reason that there was room and those around us had to wait to have dinner... During our dinner shift they argued with three tables ?

Family dinner and we all ended up pissed off. Skewer of 3 prawns for 18 euros. Rib in bad condition. Overcooked fish. When we sat down they brought us some dishes as a courtesy that they then charged us for, to top it all off they didn't accept card. RUINED NIGHT- DON'T GO.

A shame and an armed robbery. They sneak you in as you sit, as a courtesy, some starters that you haven't ordered and that you then end up paying for €10. If this were not enough, the food is super scarce and the prices are excessive. The owner is looking for customers... All the surrounding restaurants are full and this one is almost empty. Don't go, because they rip you off, especially if you're a foreigner.

I don't recommend it to anyone, I went to eat sardines and they were overcooked, the potatoes didn't taste good, the sauce wasn't good, the peppers were sour. I left there in a very bad mood.

Impeccable service, wonderful food!
We ordered sardines, a sea bream and squid and shrimp skewers!
Everything is WONDERFUL!!!!

Nice little restaurant in Afurada. Fresh fish made on the grill....the sardines and the fried cod are excellent too. Spartan but friendly service. Excellent price. Advised!!!
