Although the Beira Rio restaurant is a tourist spot in Vila Nova de Gaia, by the river, the food is good. The staff is friendly, and the food is tasty. The price is reasonable.

Small restaurant but original current design with the contrast of stone wall, to which we arrived almost with the kitchen closed for the night, but they were so kind that they made us some Frenchesinas, which is what we wanted for dinner, very delicious and well presented.

We couldn't find anywhere to eat and we were lucky enough to enter this restaurant. We ate the best cod in the area, with excellent service. Do not miss it

As soon as we arrived, they took care of us and gave us a table. The service was very good. Regarding the food, we ordered the cod, alheira, and francesinha menu and everything was very delicious, and the atmosphere of both the restaurant and the street Since we sat on the terrace it was great without being crowded

Christmas busy day, the restaurant was missing lots of items on the menu but the selections made the day. The best Francesinha I ever tasted around Porto/Aveiro. I’m not fancy on the spicing of the PiriPiri, because it makes all tastes vanish, so tasting this Francesinha without the average amount of spices of regular ones was amazing. The flavor was amazing!

Very good service quickly. He helped us to choose wine which was very good and to his credit he didn't suggest the most expensive one.Salmon excellent.the grill was overdone.I wanted the spaghetti with chicken to be how tasty it lacked seasoning

The worst francesinha I've ever eaten, the sauce only tasted like tomato pulp, it was cold and the steak was tiny, it didn't even cover half of the francesinha.Super expensive price, I wouldn't eat again even for free. The staff was friendly, for a restaurant in Cais de Gaia, the quality should improve a lot.

Everything is frozen, overcooked, too fatty, without real seasoning or flavor, too bad

The waitress was extremely unfriendly. She then recovered a little, but unfortunately only a little. The order had to be done with hands and feet as she didn't understand English. But it also worked. We did a port wine tasting. 5 glasses for 5 euros. Top and highly recommended. Sangria cost 20 per carafe, our cold plate cost 18, but it wasn't exceptional and therefore quite expensive.
