Now that I read the comments I understand better, I also had a very bad experience. I just wanted to have a coffee, I was offered to go outside or inside. In both cases I couldn't find a place so I asked for takeaway instead. I asked to be given the menu so that I could choose, they barely listened to me, handed me the menu and said where I would have to pay. I was then handed a miserable espresso even though I hadn't ordered yet. I said I wanted an iced latte to take away, the waitress said ok and still handed me the coffee and her superior told me that it was my order….In incomprehension and saw their refusal to listen to me I took the coffee with a sigh and paid. A small image of the coffee that was “served” to me. Ashamed.

We came to have a snack, the space is beautiful and pleasant, 3 people. Our intention was to eat and drink.
20 minutes after we were seated, no one came to serve us. The only time I raised my hand, they told me to wait. After another 3 minutes, we got up and left.
Thank God there is no shortage of places willing to serve people, so they don't deserve our money.
We won't be back.

We stopped for a morning coffee in this lovely location. However the service was poor. We sat for ages and none of the staff approached or provided menus. I asked inside if I should order at the table…I was told yes but not handed a menu. Then the member of staff still took ages to provide menus and serve us. It wasn’t even busy! Another waitress was just leaning on tables and rolling her eyes when other customers arrived. I ordered Strawberry Lemonade for my child…it was simply water with lemons squeezed into it. No sight of a strawberry and unpalatable. I had mango and pineapple juice which was blended fruit but had too many fibres in it which I had to spit out. The inside looked lovely but everything else let this place down. A wasted opportunity.

The location is excellent, as is the interior space and the terrace for those mornings and evenings overlooking the river. The space is ideal for a light meal in a peaceful environment alone or with others. Good menu options that cater to different and varied tastes. The price is within what would be expected for the location.

I have not received bad service like this in a long time. Waited 20 mins before I had to call a waiter to ask for the menu. Then another 20 mins before I had to call again to ask to place my order - one waiter saw my hand raised and ignored me, a while later I asked again and one waiter asked another to come to me, but he didn’t, resulting in me having to ask a third time. Furthermore, the atmosphere was so bad that I left early - the manager and staff were shouting AND SWEARING at each other. Complaining at things not being done or how they were being done. When a client got up to speak to them to ask them to keep it down and have respect for the clients here who are here to enjoy themselves, she spoke back rudely to him and asked if anyone asked him for his opinion. I’m shocked!!
Such a shame that the experience was so horrible as the location (at the Marina) is so lovely.
Very disappointing when one comes from far to try out a new place and this is the result. Now I’m not surprised the review is at a 3.7.
Excellent atmosphere, food and service. More expensive than other restaurants in the same niche, but it has a wonderful view. It's worth going every now and then.

Today (8/05/2024) I went to this space with 2 friends. I decided to order the brunch menu 2 - 1 fresh orange juice, 1 King Benedict Toast and 1 Bio Pancake (very different from 2 years ago, when there was greater variety and more quantity) and what was my surprise, when I noticed that my friend who ordered a King Benedict toast had 2 poached eggs on her toast and I only had 1 poached egg on mine… I questioned the waitress, who told me that she would look into the situation and tell me something… she never came back (not even to lift the dishes from the table). I waited for the end of the meal and at the end, I went to the employee who was at the payment machine and explained the situation, to which he replied that if toast is ordered on the brunch menu, it only comes with 1 egg... I asked why, since the name of the toast is exactly the same as what he responds to (sic) “because the boss wants it”… having said that, I think the boss must want these types of derogatory comments about her establishment. Therefore, I do not recommend this space, which has lost its quality both in terms of meals and customer service!!

Last Saturday the 13th, I went to bio coffee again and I was very disappointed once again. These photos are separated by 2 years, you can see the difference in the benedict toast, not to mention the price. 2 years ago the experience was excellent, worthy of Instagram, currently very poor, waiting time of 45 minutes to introduce myself is toast ?, depressing atmosphere, customers all complaining and co-workers complaining to each other, just regrettable, no house it was full or anything like that, it's not justified. It's sad because it's well located and a really fun space, but I give up because I've already had 1 very good experience in 2022, but 2 terrible ones in 2023, 2024. I give up, unfortunately.
