Charming place with amazing food and friendly servers! The steak meal was flavorful and delicious. As someone who does not like seafood, even I loved the flavor of their perfectly cooked sea bass. Portion sizes were good, enough for 2 people to split. The passion fruit tart and caramel mousse with coffee were the perfect way to finish the night. Can’t wait to visit again!

A very authentic traditional Portuguese fish restaurant.?Amazing, super tasty and fresh seafood with just perfect spicing.???♂️Great staff, they are humble, kind and helpful in every sense. It is beyond cheap for such big portions.We paid 37 Euros for:Half Portion Sardines (It is a lot)Half Portion Squid (It is a lot too)One Sea BreamOne SaladOne Big Mineral WaterOne cheescalePotatoes (Free)They have open-air tables with a nice breeze.✍️Just one suggestion I would have is to serve more portugese deserts rather than generic European stuff. Portugal has really great custors based deserts.
Living in Porto for more than a year, we always went to Matosinhos for fresh seafood. But Afurada, and specifically Cafe Moreira, offers totally different experience! Location is really nice, under the trees and not by the road. There are nice tables outside, with plenty of great people eating and chatting. Creates this perfect vibe for nice dinner. The team is amazing, fast and smiling, thank you guys for your great work! Finally, the sardinhas and lulinhas here are heavenly tasty, never tried something like this before. After ordering a portion, I just could not stop and ordered more)) We will surely be back to this cozy place with awesome people. Totally recommended for the best experience!

We had such a beautiful meal at Casa Moreira while we were on holiday in Porto, the staff were all so friendly - the chef was keen to show us the fresh fish they had on offer and it was so great to watch as he cooked it on the bbq. The street was full of delicious smells! The food was cooked perfectly, the fish was gorgeous and we had a very fresh tasty salad and house potatoes (lovely and crispy). The atmosphere was wonderful too, felt like a local spot, we were very happy we came!
Wow , the food is delicious , great service and so fresh and tasty . We had a whole sea bass plus squid kebab , prawns , salad and potatoes a few drinks and the bill was €50 ish . Great value in a lovely location . Recommend highly

Very grumpy staff - possibly only with visitors as locals appeared to have no issue. Our coffees and sugars were literally thrown on the table. All the staff were grumpy and a man I think the boss never stopped shouting at the other staff. Perhaps just a bad day. However the coffee was good and we were amused by the antics!
