This place has no conditions whatsoever.Bathrooms all dirty and smelling bad.The cakes are dry and tasteless. The employees are delinquent, they take a long time to serve people, sometimes waiting almost 1 hour to be served. Not to mention the bad atmosphere and the super intense smell inside the establishment. They carry out illicit and illegal acts within it.They prohibit entry to animals, but this is not shown and they still criticize customers for having their pets sitting and consuming the establishment's products.

An absolutely amazing dinner at one of the hidden jewels of the traditional food from the “Trás-os-Montes” province! Greeted with a smile by the super professional and friendly staff, I was taken to the table and then got a tour to the outstanding wine cellar. I was amazed by the selection of wines from all over the world! After seating everyone, the food show started! From starters - the cold cuts and cheeses, the veal patty, the grilled chouriço, the wild boar stew and the “rojões” with chestnut were divine!! Then we move to the main dishes… and was amazing food they were!! From the Lamb chops, the “migas”, the beef and the unique cod with “alheira” we’re to die for! Everything was cooked to perfection, well seasoned and super tasty!! To finish we had a mix of desserts, including the famous turnips pudding. Yes, you read it correctly! Turnips pudding!! Amazing!!! It’s HIGHLY RECOMMENDED but be prepared to be eating for some hours as you will not want to leave!!
Sincerely ?very

This was the best restaurant experience we had, in all of Portugal! From the warm welcome when we entered to the atmosphere of a local dining spot to the fabulous food cooked in a wood burning fireplace in front of you?-perfection! Everything was delicious, and reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend!!
(Translated by Google) It is located on the opposite side of the street.(Original)Fica situado do lado oposto da rua.
We were the only ones when we first arrived and by the time we left every seat was filled with locals. This hidden gem had amazing roast veal with roast potatoes that melted in your mouth. Make sure to go here!

Our hotel was on the left bank opposite Porto and we decided to look for quality food for non-tourist prices. The town is uneventful at night and the restaurant was just a door between 2 shops in an even less eventful street. Climbing the to the roof (first floor only) the genuine charcoal scent already too me back to places I still remember from years past. The room was cozy, not too many tables and the clientele seemed all Portuguese. A gentleman with a gaucho hat in charge of the large grill in the center and part of the wall covered by a large expose of local wines. The waiter did not take the trouble of explaining the menu; " Fish or meat, and I will make you a proposal." That was quick and simple and we took both. We had a Niepoort 2019 (red of course) for 38 Eur..Joy without headache even at 12 pct alcohol..He planted a huge still smoking and sizzling calf steak in the middle of the table and a sea bream t I didn't even look at with my eyes still focusing on that firework in front of me. This was supposed the "B" quality meat (The "A" quality was triple that price) If that wasn't an understatement I don't what is! All in all with the extras and desert (No cappuccino available but if that's the local's mores we were happy to comply) it came to about 120 eur for 3 if I remember well but it could have been less - I have no proof because our companion was so pleased and draw her card before I could move.
This is a fantastic family owned neighborhood restaurant. This was my best meal in Porto. I went to all the top rated tourist restaurants and this was by far the best and reasonable priced. First you sit down and they serve piping hot rolls, and a plate a cheese and meats. Everything is family style. Then we had some sort of cod snacks and shrimp snacks. We then ordered cod to share and steak to share. Both were fantastic. We couldn’t finish it all. We had 2 bottles of wine that were $16 each. We had them choose dessert which was also served family stile. My favorite was a brownie cake. By far my best meal in Portugal. It’s not in the center of cab so you can take a cheap Uber to get there. Or the metro. We spent 2 and ½ hours there and weren’t rushed at all. The table was ours for the night. Fantastic.
It has the advantage of being open every day and with extended hours!
