After many years of eating in the restaurant on the 6th floor I was surprised by a sea bass served without oil, salt or pepper. A caricature of a fish. Nervous and sad employees. The management strategy needs to be refined and rethought, otherwise it's better to wait for the opening of el Corte Ingles at the Boavista roundabout.

The El Corte Inglés cafeteria is definitely not a good experience... the air conditioning doesn't work during the summer and the table service is rude and inattentive. Although the room was not very busy, all the orders on the table were changed... even people who ordered beef ate pork without knowing it (they had dietary restrictions!) and were charged for the dishes... when they questioned the employees, they simply gave excuses saying that we would pay cheaper... absurd considering the price charged in the restaurant.
It’s best to arrive at the store after lunch so you don’t end up with indigestion…
The recommendation is to eat in the restaurants on floor -1.

Wheelchair accessibility: Elevators and flat levels. Spacious hallways.

As a regular customer, it is with great regret that I come here to share my latest experiences at this restaurant that I once loved.

The El Corte Inglés restaurant was the place where you could enjoy any meal, whether it was a Sunday lunch with the family or dinner with your wife during the week. Tasty menus and friendly prices!
After the renovation work, the space became more modern (with sofas for those waiting for a table) but less cozy, but that's just taste. During the works I watched a father and his young daughter carry a panel that hid the ceiling wiring. I assume the restaurant knew how to compensate them for that inconvenience.
However, the service got much worse. The attitude of the employees is less attentive. Inattention and disarticulation between them is constant. The delays in orders are notorious and, worst of all, the quality of the food is not the same!
Today I decided to give it another chance. After all, everyone has bad days, right? To my chagrin, it confirmed my suspicions. The restaurant is not the same.
The incompetence was proven and I was still outside, trying to get a table when I received the message confirming that a table was available. The unfriendly employee who spits “wait here for your colleague” pointing at the floor, decides to let other customers in front of me pass who did not have the same table confirmation “didn't you receive a message? it doesn't hurt! Come in!”
When she asks me again about my message, I confront her with the fact that I don't know how to manage the queue. The same employee then explains to me that I'm the idiot because I didn't know how to move 1 meter further forward, the place she had previously pointed to. Apparently that's how it works now. We then have to tolerate the mix of authoritarianism and unreasonable rigor in the place where we patiently wait for our table, and the lack of control and disorder while we patiently wait for the food we order.
But then, is this food justified?, you will ask. Certainly not.

With so many employees, including the manager who showed us a table that had yet to be cleaned, the service is not at all pleasant and professional.
For example, we spent a long time waiting to see the waiter at our table to order ice. We can only fulfill the request by going directly to them. Some more time to wait for said ice and be informed that after all…. They didn't have ice. Inadmissible!!!

We have been customers of this cafe for many years. We like the change of environment underway. But today we had a terrible experience with an unacceptable wait of more than 1 hour to be served with the dish of the day. The care and professionalism of Cátia and João Matos was worth it. But the room team is clearly not working at the level of quality that the establishment and the price require, as they saw us without food on the table for more than 45 minutes and they didn't ask us if everything was ok nor did they act when we alerted two of the employees for the delay. After calling the manager, João Matos, we were served within 5 minutes, which shows that the problem was clearly with the room team.

Terrible service! We spent hours waiting for service and while waiting for an attendant to come, I observed several people getting up and going to get service, because no one was simply going to the tables. It's not due to a lack of employees, as there were many. It's really a lack of training.I've tried going to this cafe 3 times and each time has been miserably bad. A shame, I won't waste my time anymore.

Staff in a bad mood, the roast beef salad had three or four tiny strips of meat. The poke sauce was the same as the salad (mayonnaise), the rice, which had nothing Japanese in it, was still raw. Terrible experience.

Terrible experience, terrible service, food did not come as ordered. The waiter blames the kitchen.. it is not acceptable. They don't serve the requested entry and still charge. Terrible, inexplicably bad it was.

Entering the ECI Cafeteria, on the esplanade, having almost all the tables free and not being able to sit down because they all have used crockery left unpicked, does not match the service that ECI advertises.
