We arrived at this place by chance. The freetour guide recommended it to us and it was the best place we ate in Porto. Very good Portuguese cuisine with huge portions. The waiters are charming and make you feel at home. You can tell that it is a family restaurant. Highly recommended

While waiting to eat at another restaurant, in line, they told us that we couldn't leave without trying the food at this place. It was a spectacular dinner, we ordered tomato salad, cod fritter and a clam dish with octopus and prawns The fritter is a very good size, with a thin batter and crumbled cod filling. The main dish is worth repeating, we ordered for two, although there were three of us and we were unable to finish all the octopus, which is served with a slightly spicy sauce, clams, prawns and fried potatoes. They offered us green house wine, very fresh and not at all quarrelsome. For dessert we asked to share the typical cake with cookies, nothing cloying. And of course a very cheap price, we do not reach €30 per person. I can't finish the review without talking about the staff, friendly, professional and advising.

We went thinking about ordering octopus, but when we saw the price (30 euros per person) we backed out, what we ordered was very average, but the worst thing is the serious face of the older waiter, who picked up things from the table without looking at us or even say words. A disappointment, really.

Authentic restaurant with very good food. Very generous portions and good service. We left very happy.
My partner and I went for dinner on a Saturday night. It's good, pretty and at a good price. Good attention. We ordered the cod fritters, empanadas and the typical sausage to share. The texture of the sausage failed us, because it is not a common sausage. We tried a green wine, very good and recommended.

We really liked this site. Traditional and familiar; with food made by the mother and grandmother of the waitress, as she told us, so in addition to being delicious, the dishes were very generous. The service is very friendly and it is a beautiful place located on the banks of the Douro River.
