Do not order the espedata dragao — an overpriced piece of poorly cooked food: 3-4 pieces of undercooked not seasoned pork, 2 hardly noticeable pieces of squid, 2 shrimps. No taste, no flavor, just 17 euros of disappointment. A small basket of bread and a dozen olives, which were expected to be free, cost us an extra 4 euros.

Satisfaction versus price ratio is quite weak. Exaggerated prices on everything other than the main dishes. Bread, olives, salad, drinks, all inflated. The dishes are apparently not expensive but the quantity and quality leave something to be desired which ends up making them "expensive". Very frugal lunch for two people, we paid almost as much for the two dishes (sardines and steak) as for the starters and drinks (bread, olives, salad, 2 sandwiches).
Very nice fish restaurant, we ate salmon and squid, both very good. Price/performance and service is very good. We'd love to come back, obrigado.

Beautiful restaurant which was busy on arrival but the staff made us feel welcome and the food was gorgeous. I opted for the grilled sardines which were incredible! If you’re in Vila Nova de Gaia you have to go!
