Cod croquettes anywhere cost 1.5 more less. There 5 eu. The wines seem to order whatever you order at any time.
Restaurant always charges 5 euros for a glass of port, but they fill them well. There 10 eu for a thimble.
Summary... 2 people, if you choose, €30 for 2 croquettes and two very very average wines.
I recommend not entering. You won't see any Portuguese inside and it's for a reason.

Ideal place for a stopover... Super well decorated and an exceptional aperitif. Tasting of port wine and cod pie. You can enjoy live music with an organ background

The place is very beautiful to visit. There is an organ where a musician gives small concerts at set times. Prices are good for tourists. I just ordered the cheese and... it wasn't worth it. Very small for the amount charged.

It is a place that is worth entering just because of how curious and how beautifully it is decorated.
We had a Port with a Cod cake and they also gave you a souvenir glass. A nice experience having a drink and listening to live music.

To make the donuts are delicious
I'll start with the only flaw: the price.
The rest is wow ?. This was our first random visit when arriving in Vila Nova de Gaia.
Don't look at the photos before going there and let yourself be surprised by the place. It’s splendid. Strange not to find this address in the guides ?
The palace is worth a visit, truly evocative. Really exaggerated prices, the croquette €5 now served cold and dry, I've eaten better ones!! The pairing with a glass of port costs €15 (although you can take the glass and cutting board home).
Didn't eat but really cool building, great music and porto to quench the thirst. Well worth a visit

Marvelous. Especially the headquarters located along the opposite bank of the Douro in Nova de Gaia. It's like being in a fairy tale. The Pastel is delicious and very large (they cost €5 each). Port is expensive compared to other places but very good if you like sweet wine (€10 a glass of Port).

Very unexpected. Good cod pie, accompanied by a wine, very delicious. They give you the glass as a souvenir. The place has a curious decoration, it has tables upstairs and there is an organ, which they play every so often.

Great, the service has been very fast, first you pay and then you pick up the cake or cookies with cheese. The truth is great, it is a perfect Portuguese experience, on the 2nd floor you can sit to savor your food or snack while they play the Organ. Highly recommended

It's delicious and there's a great atmosphere with someone playing the piano. The only negative point is the price which is a bit expensive.
