The dishes and desserts are all very well done.
The prices are a little above average but it is justified by the quality.

Chic and cozy decoration with a lovely life on the Douro, generous tasty cuisine, a gastronomic experience for excellent value for money! The panoramic terrace of the bar is just exceptional, with the most beautiful view of Porto and a great atmosphere even in the middle of the week! Special mention for the server Josué, who was adorable, responsive and gave very good advice! He even charged us a dish at half price simply because I had made a comment about the cod, a little salty for my taste, even though the cooking had nothing to do with it! (Cod was originally a very salty fish!) I recommend 100%!

Superb experience at DeCastro Gaia, especially the top service thanks to the right recommendations and attention from Josue our server. The restaurant offers a beautiful modern brasserie decoration. Above the restaurant a 360 degree rooftop with the most beautiful view overlooking the Douro, the Luis 1er bridge and the city of Porto on the other side of the bank. Do not miss!

Excellent experience, from the tasty starters (cod fillets), main dishes (octopus rice and the delicious bisaro pork with mushroom rice, one of the best dishes of our trip!) to ending with delicious desserts. Customers can try a complimentary white Port served at the beginning and we had a beautiful woody red Dalva. We were very well looked after by Josué and his team, which made the night perfect! We recommend!

I visited this restaurant / port wine tasting bar on the advice of a famous paper tourist guide and frankly I don't regret it. I had a great time on the terrace where I had lunch. The view from the roof top is simply magnificent, the staff very welcoming and the food very good with a large port wine list and beautiful colorful cocktails.
Small downside at the end because unlike the main course, they took a really long time to serve me dessert, but I was so happy on this terrace that I don't even hold it against them :-)

I had this restaurant on May 30th with a group of around 30 people who were satisfied and amazed with the service and the meal. I can't help but thank all the support given by the excellent employee Josué who was always attentive and available, without Josué it wouldn't be the same. ? Well done for all the support Josué and the rest of the staff. We will definitely be back. Josué was the crucial factor in choosing the location for this event.
