Awesome spot in Gaia for grabbing a bite or a night drink. The owners are awesome, really worth it to visit!

Good morning,
On this day of 06/22 we went to this restaurant with 11 people.

To our first surprise despite our greetings in Portuguese, the waitress tells us in English that we will only have 3 tables which is strange since 3 of our comrades do not have a place to eat.

Secondly, once our orders have been requested (drinks + dish/customer) another server arrives and leaves us the meals without indicating what each plate corresponds to. Under the pretext that it's a different server... (30min later) Knowing that only 1 person at the table speaks English...

It's welcome is very disappointing, especially since the bar has a beautiful view of the city.

We will not return, and do not recommend this establishment which nevertheless seems to have very good reviews. And which is all the more recommended on many internet pages. Hence our coming.

When we arrived in Porto, we went to have lunch at this restaurant/bar. We arrived at the opening, at 2pm, but we weren't very well received... In fact, the employees didn't welcome us very well: we were a large group and it seemed like they didn't want to prepare a table for us so we could all be together. In fact, one of the waiters, who brought us the dishes, didn't speak and left the dishes on the table without us knowing whose dish it was... However, the food was good, even if it's a car for what it is...
We won't be back even though there was a beautiful rooftop overlooking the Douro River.

1 star because I can't put 0!
If you have children then you are not welcome in this space!!!
The dear employee decided to draw our attention, as if he were our Father, to the fact that our son was sitting cross-legged, because he could “dirty” the chair. We talked about plastic chairs, terrace chairs... but what surprised me the most was that I was so worried about the chairs instead of worrying about cleaning the bar's dust from the floor, that one was disgusting!! Shameful ?
And by the way, at the end we asked for water, already at the payment area, it was charged at MB but not registered in the system. Evading the tax authorities? ?

Are you Cais de Gaia? And looking for something different? Then visit this place. Irish pub with plenty of choices of not only Irish beer? Hell yeah, and still not speaking about plenty of choices from the whisky’s(it’s hard to count them all) all the gins what they have. If you looking for cocktails this is The place. Ask Ronaldo to surprise you with cocktail. Alongside with Klara they are super duo who runs the place. Pay them a visit if you are around Gaia Pier. I am sure you will find something for you.
From the food I can recommend The Melt which is super nice or almost classic Picanha fries.
Try them out they are worth it ❤️

It lowers so much the irish pub’s standards that it should not be called irish or even visited. The only light is the stuff.

If you are Portuguese, don't set foot here! Super rude and tourist-oriented service. However, employees lose out because they don't know who they are talking to, whether they are Portuguese people or not, economic power is also in the rural areas and people of the Portuguese North, friends ?
