The food is delicious, but average. We ate octopus tentacle, with some potatoes and salad. An unpretentious dish. The octopus is gelatinous, but it's not the best octopus I've had in years, or anything like that. + 2 beers €23. It's not a gift. Although if you compare it with 2 cod croquettes + 1 port wine, yes.
Certainly, good price. White wine at 2.20 and oysters at 2.20 too. The market is full of gastrobars and the Duero promenade is very beautiful. From Gaia you can see the entire shore of Porto.
Located in the back of Mercado Beira-Rio, it is convenient to have an English version on the menu, and the staff is also very nice. I ordered oysters, seafood risotto, shrimp risotto and cuttlefish pasta. The oysters were a bit small but tasted fresh; The two kinds of stewed rice actually taste almost the same. There is a seasoning that I don’t really like, it’s quite ordinary.
