Friends recommended we stop here and they were so right. So friendly, cute interior and off the charts Portuguese food. We had the francesina, tofu com broa (tofu with seaweed breadcrumbs) and the cachorrinho de casa (starter). And some pasteis de nata and a dounut to take home. All 10/10

Consistently good food, welcoming and attentive service, good portions, gluten free options, and fair prices. What more could you ask for? The Francesinha with Chick’n is a favourite (though not available gluten-free, unfortunately) and the cheesecake is possibly the best we have tasted.

Restaurant and bakery with really excellent food. This is the original PADOCA. The one in Porto only turned vegan after people started asking for vegan food, because of this one. Lots of locals eat here, whereby the one in Porto gets mainly tourists.
