Without a doubt, one of the best vegan restaurants in Porto. Food is incredible stuff going above and beyond and the ambience is also spot on . Of course I can recommend the traditional Portuguese dishes such as Francesinha. You really can’t go wrong in coming here.

The staff was very friendly and nice. I really liked the tortilla appetizer and the desserts, but they were huge. One dessert is more than enough for two people, especially the biscoff one was like a meal in itself. Unfortunately none of us liked the francesinha, as the sauce was way too strong and overwhelming for us. The other rice dish was good, but way too oily.

I’ve been a customer of Padoca since the very beginning, back when it was just a corner of a traditional pastelaria near the beach (Valadares, I believe?). I’ve watched the project grow and evolve over the years and along the way, became friends with Felipe, the owner. Our kids celebrate every birthday with something from Padoca’s decadent pastry selection and are now friends with the staff, who always welcome us like family.
