Very nice experience that we recommend 100%! Thanks to Steve for the visit and the explanations+advice. My wife and I have always drunk Port wine from the supermarket as an aperitif, as we often do in France... But we now have another vision of how we should choose a Port wine (white, red, vintage, tawny, ruby, etc...), when to drink it (aperitif? meal? cheese? dessert? digestive? etc...), at what temperature you should drink it, how long to keep it after opening, etc. If you want to know all this, don't hesitate to visit this family-sized cellar and you will know everything! The tasting will allow you to understand even better everything that will be explained to you. Allow €15 per person for visit+tasting. But if you buy wine, this price will be refunded to you. In short, it’s definitely worth stopping at this winery!

Great stop. Tour and sampling for 15€ then get 10€ back on purchase - great deal for amazing port! They do tours in Portuguese, French, and English. 3 samples per person included - lovely to try the white! Staff are very friendly.

Very nice and slightly shorter trip. For €15 per person, three sample glasses of port wine are offered. For couples, the chance was offered that each person received different wines in order to try more. Overall very good wines that are only sold locally.
When buying a bottle, you get back €10 per person from the entrance fee, which makes the tasting itself very affordable. You could also try any wine for a small fee, which was deducted if you then bought a bottle.

The depth of flavor from the velvety first taste to the long beautifully structured finish of their wines made for memorable experience. It shows the deep understanding of the grapes that are produced that can only come from time and experience. Small establishment, great guide with lots to teach her group. Tasting is of quality products far superior to the rest. Buy a bottle and get 10 euros off cause you did the tour is a good offer. Getting one or two bottles like I did is a good bit of a Porto that is top above the rest
