October 14, 2023. Saturday. Breakfast.My wife and I were looking for a spot to eat something before our early tour of the nearby Sandeman port wine cellars. We didn't want to sample five port wines on an empty stomach. Luckily, we stumbled upon this cafe down a nearby alley way.They had a good selection of breakfast baguettes and lunch sandwiches, hot dogs and hamburgers. The drink offerings included soda, hot beverages, coffee and adult beverages. I ordered a fresh squeezed orange juice (1.40 euros) and baguette atum e ovo cozido/tuna and hard boiled egg baguette (4 euros). This cafe is old, with real stone walls.Food came quickly and tasted surprisingly good. Loved the cold, fresh squeezed glass of vitamin C and the baguette came overflowing with tuna and perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs. A large baguette for sure.Great food in an unassuming place.

Wandering around the river front. Looking for food and coffee. Early. lol 11am. Happy to find a good cafe with delicious food and coffee. Great price too. Great location too, a bit back from the tourist spots.

Cheap and quick, perfect for a quick stop for lunch. :) Food is not bad, better than some of the expensive tourist restaurants. Espresso 70cents, Toasts, Fries, Burgers etc all under 5€. The waitress speaks good English and very friendly!

Nice local place with good prices and friendly people, like a breath of fresh air in between all the posh places. Waiters spoke English well enough when I was there.

I give them 5 stars because they sell real bifana at fair price. Coffee as well. Don't know about other dishes but bifana cannot cost more than 2.50/3 euro. Thanks

Best destination to visit to enjoy good Porto wine and old cellars

No! Terrible food, something was wrong with the meat in main course. Waitress does not even try to understand What you want to order. Poor service
