This place is wonderful, a beautiful terrace surrounded by nature and right next to the city. Very very amazing service and food! I adore!

I hired a service for the baptism lunch on 07/27. The service provided did not correspond to what was contracted. I paid extra for them to serve soup to the guests and they didn't do it, they only served it to some, when I mentioned several times to an employee that the soup was for everyone. I paid for product that was not consumed.
Some of the employees who were serving had no idea what service they were doing and what they had to serve. I had guests who, towards the end, went to the restaurant bar to order a drink and refused to serve the drink, when the person had the money in hand to pay.
The space manager, Mr. Rui, only cares about the profitability of the space and doesn't take the slightest care for the customers.
Two days later, I sent an email to the person responsible for communication and PR, with whom I spoke practically every time, to give my feedback on what had gone wrong, with the aim of improving, and I simply didn't get any response, not even for a reason. email or telephone.
Very bad!
I would like to start by mentioning that my previous review was removed, and I know that whoever holds the position of “Commercial & Communications Manager” was the one who reported it. The reason the review was removed was because I mentioned her name, which apparently isn't allowed. This attempt to stifle criticism seems to be a common practice for this person, as I was not the first to have a comment removed. However, there is no problem because I write again.
Recently, I decided to hold an event at Quinta do Fojo and my experience was marked by a lack of responsibility on the part of the “Commercial & Communications Manager”.
When we went there in person to find out about the menus, we were greeted by a friendly gentleman. However, from then on, the experience began to decline. This same man began to present inconsistent communication, often saying one thing and then stating that it was no longer possible. He initially informed us that the welcome drink and welcome food would cost a fee and that we could stay until 1am without paying an additional fee (one of the reasons that led me to choose this farm). After paying half the amount to book the event, the “Commercial & Communications Manager” informed us that we could not stay after midnight without paying 200 euros per hour and that the cost of the welcome drink and welcome food was after all more expensive. We ended up paying what was stipulated, which shouldn't have been questioned by her.
The person responsible for the events, who holds the position of “Commercial & Communications Manager”, often used informal and unprofessional language, such as "it's good", which is not appropriate for the context and reflects a lack of seriousness in service. . She also changed the price of the children's menu from €15 to €17.5, citing an error in the PDF that was sent to me. The attempt to change the price, although small, was disrespectful. I sent her an email to which her response was with a tone of superiority. She also tried replacing cod with shrimp tempura with cod with cornbread, a cheaper option. Furthermore, there was an attempt to replace pistachio ice cream with strawberry and vanilla ice cream, going against the chosen menu. On the day of the event, there was no pistachio ice cream and the employees had to improvise a solution. This lack of consideration for customer preferences is unacceptable.
Another negative point is the restaurant's policy of forcing you to order cakes only through the bakers they have a partnership with, due to the risk of food poisoning. The cake, for which I paid more than 100 euros, was delivered five hours before the agreed date (For this reason, it was already deformed and falling over and the appearance was far from what was expected). This limitation reduces customers' freedom of choice.
The room provided had a painting that I asked to be removed, as it did not fit the theme of the event. The wall was dirty and needed painting, something that should have been resolved in advance.
Despite all these problems, I would like to highlight the excellent performance of employees Elsa, Janaice and Eliana, whose dedication, friendliness and professionalism were crucial for the event to run smoothly. His attention to detail, his willingness to help and his positive attitude were second to none. Thanks to them, the experience has been significantly improved. I don't have enough words to express my gratitude for the way these professionals conducted the event. They deserve all the praise possible. If it weren't for them, the event would have been a complete disaster. Their competence, friendliness and commitment transformed a potentially disastrous situation into a much more pleasant experience. I also congratulate the chef because the food was exceptional.
Due to the succession of errors, lack of communication and professionalism on the part of the “Commercial & Communications Manager” I will not consider Quinta do
Pleasant atmosphere.
