I already knew this restaurant having been there 5 times for lunch where they serve quality dishes of the day and that's why I wanted to try out what it would be like in the evening for dinner. We ordered roast ham, a hunk of meat and a mug of house-made verde blanco. Everything was very good, impeccable service, very friendly staff and friendly price. With starters (olives and 2 Top pâtés), a coffee and a dessert €42. to repeat ?
I have eaten in many restaurants in my life. None come close to the Retiro in terms of quality-price. You eat a dish that you would normally pay more than €15 per night (€6.50-€8.50). The presentation is top notch and the portions are ideal. A true pearl. It is clear that the bosses have a real passion for what they do.
The service was impeccable, the atmosphere and decoration were also to our liking and the food, despite having cooled down very quickly, was very good, the only negative point was realizing that the rice was heated.
Meal prices are affordable!
