We had a great time at the Vinum restaurant, we ate very well! However I would like to point out that the service left a lot to be desired, we had a long wait just to get something to drink. Out of all the servers, only 1 smiled, the others were all rude!! I would even just say disrespectful, there were 10 of us at the table and we ate well, no one said goodbye to us when we left. For a restaurant of this type I find it a shame

I truly believe that this is the true gastronomic experience for anyone who visits Porto. I've been to the restaurant several times, and it's always spectacular. Delicious tasting and à la carte menu (the tasting is impeccable and must be done at least once in your life!), with several delicious options, in addition to the excellent service.

An amazing experience with wonderful caring people.Dining at this restaurant is consistently a delightful experience. It is evident that a lot of thought and care go into every aspect of the restaurant, from the menu selection to the customer service.

We did not enjoy our meal at this restaurant. It has the intention of pretending to be fine dining, but does not deliver close to that experience. This is all personal opinion.

- Server and Maitre'de didn't explain any of the wines or dishes when they were presented.
- Our bottle of wine was hidden 20 metres from our table and was not filled for 45 minutes after our initial taste. We saw the table next to us do the same thing.
- The pork dish made no sense. A small piece of pork with potato chips and a bland salad? What?
- The tuna steak had a lot of grizzle and fat remaining on it. This was the first time I've seen something like this, it was a grey and chewy texture.
- No one checked on our main courses until they were all finished.
- We specified we were celebrating a special birthday and only the hostess mentioned it, no one else.
- We had to flag down the inattentive Maitre'de to pay. Overall he was not very attentive to the tables and interaction was low.

I would not recommend this restaurant for your time in Porto given how many fantastic options exist.

I rarely write bad reviews but my experience today was especially bad.

I have a lot of food intolerances and I so I go to high end restaurants and pay €100 eu, to ensure they can make adjustments.

The meal started great w 2 wonderful starters. Then things went bad.

Waiter told me I could have pork ribs with au jus. Even convinced me that I should do the pork, instead of the fish I originally wanted. I asked to confirm the au jus was safe for me knowing pork is difficult and often dry.

I got the pork and it was barely seasoned, and no au jus. I had to ask 3 different times, and staff started avoiding me before I found out the au jus was NOT safe, so the kitchen refused to send it.

I finally asked for a sauce and got it but at that point I had finished half of the unseasoned, unsalted pork and just gave up. It was not fixed on my bill.

I then ordered dessert only to find nuts which was not listed on menu, nor was I informed by staff.

Finally was told port only had grapes and after Googleing I found it also has other things I cannot eat..

Very unhappy w my visit
