Without a doubt a restaurant to return to. Excellent service, food and friendliness of all employees. During the entire weekend (Friday to Sunday) we ate here and everything was excellent. The best biscuit cake in Portugal.

The place we always return to on our family's winter trip. A true hidden gem…The lamb and cod are incredible, but it's the sausage and mushroom rice that accompany it that will leave anyone captivated.Finish with the best biscuit cake you've ever had!!!Congratulations to everyone for the excellent service, especially to Samanta who has a quality and friendly service that is difficult to match!

This evening, I've already been served very well and had one of the best ever "bacalhau a nascente", along with a bottle of Monção vinho verde. Followed by a dessert of an absolutely delicious pera bebida "com canela."It's a Sunday night, the place is 1/4 full with families, etc.The restaurant is spotless, with simple timeless decor. It has about 20 tables inside.Has WiFi.Parking is on the street. Check for meters, unfortunately the centre of Villa Pouca da Aguiar is infested with paid parking spaces.

I entered the restaurant at 12:30, 10 minutes later I made the order, after 1:30 after trying to understand what was going on, having still not been served anything, in a confusion that no one understands, I left the place, without any explanation from the person in charge. The order was grilled salmon, grilled steak and fried cod (dish of the day). The one star goes to the female employee who doesn't know what to say to customers.

Good afternoon, regrettable what happened to us today in that restaurant, I'm only sorry I didn't ask for the complaints book, my wife really wasn't very precise, we entered at 12.35 and left at 13.55, without having service, regarding information from employee, she just said after being confronted after an hour that it didn't take long, I go to restaurants in the area every year and I've never seen such bad service, there could even have been a mistake and they could justify it, it's not ignoring customers, there was clearly a mistake with the order, customers arrived after they had eaten the cod dish and left and we were waiting.Worse than anything is not accepting criticism and thinking they are right.
