“This is a wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy Portuguese cuisine while overlooking the sea. The owner was always paying attention to every corner of the store, and I could feel his love for the store. Especially the seafood risotto was extremely delicious. I was alone, but they made me a half portion without complaining. All the employees were friendly and professional. The shop is full of Portuguese people. I visited on a pilgrimage to Santiago, but I highly recommend you check it out ???“

“This was a surprise find. Very good value for money, very nice service, even if no English spoken. With the help of online translation, we had a very nice dinner. Local bubbly for 10.50 Euro was fine, Reserva red wine for 14 euro was excellent, possibly the best we had in Portugal. Almond cake for dessert was very large and very fresh. Fantastic value for money.“

“This is an outstanding stop on the Camino Portuguese - an unassuming cake shop with magnificent cakes and delicious fuel for the pilgrim. After dancing up and down through the houses in the woods this is a very welcome stop in Ancona. I was slow out of Viana do castelo today and it took me 5 hours to reach here. Had I known how tasty the cakes were I might've just got a train straight here. When I come back to do the Portuguese way I will miss out the first stretch out of Viana and get the train one town up. It's a beautiful walk on the hills and fairly shaded. You get great views of the sea and then wonderful Cake shops like this to fortify the body for the next shift to Caminha. Thank you.“

“Restaurant with large windows and views of the sea. I ordered grilled sardines and the owner was careful to tell me that they were Portuguese sardines, therefore smaller than what we usually see in supermarkets, imported from Spain.
The sardines were very fresh. The dish came with an exemplary presentation, and mouth-watering flavors.

“Four of us stopped in for a drink while we waited for another restaurant to open. While we had our wine we ordered an appetizer which turned out to be so delicious (and large!) we stayed for dinner. The food was excellent, as was the wine the manager recommended, and the price very reasonable. It was a most pleasant surprise and highly recommended!“

“A very nice and reasonably priced restaurant/cafe with an extra vegan menu! Here you can find everything from pastries to ice cream and some main courses as well as other snacks and drinks. The vegan pizza was quite good, but a little more topping wouldn't have hurt. The vegan sandwich for breakfast was very tasty, I can only recommend it. Coffee with plant milk is usually available here too :)
