I could criticize the food or the waiting time, like all the criticisms I see here, but in fact the problem here was the lack of politeness, the lack of respect, and this, in my opinion, could never fail. Empty restaurant, and it wasn't yet 12pm. We just asked if they had a table for 5 people, after almost begging to speak to someone. Since there were more than 3 people watching us enter and no one addressed us. The question was answered rudely and dryly, almost as if we were asking for a favor.
Another person came from inside to reinforce the idea “my colleague already told you, we don’t have a table”.
It clearly goes out the door, and I don't remember being treated like that in any other establishment. Tasca with the feeling of a Michelin-starred restaurant, certainly. If you spoke English or Spanish you might be treated differently.
Just one door next door and we were served in a friendly and humble way. The way they manage reservations or the restaurant is their concern, but there is clearly a lack of education.
Bad service

Very poor service, very questionable food quality, I saw the rest of my table being put on a platter to serve someone else, I don't recommend it, there are better options to choose from

Restaurant with large windows and views of the sea. I ordered grilled sardines and the owner was careful to tell me that they were Portuguese sardines, therefore smaller than what we usually see in supermarkets, imported from Spain.
The sardines were very fresh. The dish came with an exemplary presentation, and mouth-watering flavors.
I recommend.

We stopped for snacks and were surprised with some incredible shrimp and delicious zucchini.
For those looking to eat seafood, stopping here is an excellent decision.

The food and the service were great...the only drawback is that we went on a hot wave day and they didn't turn on the air conditioning so the wait for the food in the glass window that acts as a greenhouse became tiresome...a Once we start eating all the heat of the day takes a backseat...

We ate a seafood rice casserole for 2, which could have perfectly been for 4.... Great, one of the best rice dishes we have ever eaten. Spectacular flavor. Very well priced and with views of the sea.

Good price, good quality, good location...
June 23, 2024. Good sardines, excellent zanburinhas starters. The sole was also very good - simple and well cooked. Very good Tiramisu for dessert. Fast and friendly service at €22 per person

Very good, the seafood rice is QQ thing
One dose for two people is reasonably enough for four people.
Very friendly staff.

I had dinner in this restaurant, the service was very slow, but that's the least of it. In a seaside place I would have expected fresh fish. I asked for mussels, they were served covered with chopped peppers and celery, then I understood the reason for the covering! The first mussel I tasted was stringy, dark and tough. Not realizing how these molluscs, which I loved very much, had been reduced to, I tried the second mussel: black. Obviously I never ate them again. The side salad was soaked in water. Terrible dinner... I complained to the manager, who still included mussels on the bill. A true gentleman

We don't know much about the other dishes because here it's always monkfish rice and one thing is for sure, every time we go we want to come back and this time was no exception. Very good

Very welcoming place, with a stunning view of the sea, good decor, the food, which in this case was picanha, was wonderful, very well served, good service, relatively quick, dessert was also very good, I hope to do it again soon! I highly recommend it!
