Excellent meal , the pigs cheek and black pork were wonderful . Excellent wine choice Wasn’t fused on the cheese ice cream . Lovely clean restaurant
This is a superb informal modern restaurant serving a delicious and varied menu. A great find, somewhere we will return again and again! Lovely service, the tastiest food and an interesting and dynamic wine list
If you only go to dinner to one restaurant in Lagos, choose this one. Delicious food, great service and stylish surroundings. The bacalhau dishes are first rate- fresh fish and beautifully cooked. The beef cheeks dish was rich and tasty. Don’t eat too much of the bread or you will have no room for the puddings’
What a great restaurant. We so pleasantly surprised. Everything was delicious. The owner has 2 other restaurants. We also tried Taberna de Mo. so far our 2 best meals in Portugal. Would recommend and definitely go back!
Underrated place. Everything is so good. The waiters were really Nice and helpfull and the food delicious! They made us love products we dont usually enjoy. We went there twice in a week just to try all the petiscos.
This is a really lovely upmarket restaurant. We enjoyed the duck, beef and tuna dishes which were all delicious. Had to try the desserts cheesecake with orange ice cream, grilled pineapple with coconut ice cream and lemon meringue again fabulous. Good choice of wines at a reasonable cost. The inside is very smart and feels special and the service is excellent. Make sure you book as it’s very popular.
Our favourite restaurant in Lagos, we visit more than once every time we are there. The food is interesting as well as being very well prepared and great quality. The service is amazing, all the staff are lovely and Antonio’s wine suggestions are fantastic.
Three of us had a fabulous tapas lunch here today, four courses, mostly fish based and all delicious. Recommend the squid, prawns, goat cheese and sea bass. Bottle of house rose, friendly service, just perfect.
This restaurant was a great find. We have now been three times and every meal we have had has been excellent. The starters I recommend are the mackerel, the burrata salad and goats cheese with aubergine - all delicious. So far we have had the steak, amazing, black pork, fabulous, king prawns and saffron risotto, best prawns ever, the duck was great as was the sea bass. As you can tell we have just about had everything on the menu and it has all been faultless. The wines by the glass are of a high standard and the service is extremely efficient and helpful. It is everything we want from a restaurant and we still have a few days left of our holiday to go back for more!
Delicious food, with an interesting menu and reasonable prices. Close to a 5* meal in my opinion. I wasn't sold on the avacodo puree in the ceviche, it seemed a bit overpowering. But overall I think this is an excellent option for finer dining in Lagos at a reasonable price. Good service.

Small but very cozy restaurant right in the city center. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming from the first moment. The food is amazing: the bacalao humado is something to die for (I’ve order it twice!), but everything in the list is tempting at first and tasty when you try it: squid, ceviche, tuna, pulvo.. They have a very wide selection of Portuguese wines as if you don’t know them you just ask to anybody and they will find exactly what you were looking for. Super!
Had a delightful dinner here. So pleased that it was as good as remembered from previous visit a year ago. It is a comfortable, friendly environment. Excellent service. Wonderful food. Will be the dearest dinner this trip but well worth it for a special occasion.
Very nice service, also very fast wijt drinks and food, very friendly. The food is just perfect, its nice and fresh, maar ne also looks good
Visited twice on a 1 week holiday to Lagos and very impressed both times. Staff friendly and ambiance inside was great. High quality food cooked to perfection. Huge amount of wine choice with staff helpful and passionate when asked for recommendations. Had a variety of dishes (meat, fish, vegetable and dessert!) across our two visits and the fish dishes were certainly the highlight with each dish perfectly prepared and presented to really demonstrate how fresh the ingredients they use are.
Our host recommended A Petisqueira, and we’re so glad he did. The food was incredible - everything we tried left us wanting more. The wine was some of the best we enjoyed in Portugal. Service was so attentive and also helpful with recommendations for a great winery to tour. We loved A Petisqueira so much that we dined here two of our four nights in Lagos and would have returned for a third night had they not been closed on Sunday.
