I edit my comment after seeing your response - You did NOT offer us a complimentary lunch upon arrival, you did that after we left and complained and posted reviews, so please do NOT lie.
This place is totally mismanaged - we drove for 30mins as we had lunch reservation for my birthday just to get there and realise they had no idea we had a reservation and second they had an accident eith chef and no food was available - despite 4 people were in the kitchen doung nothing. They clearly give very little regard to their customers.

we went for a birthday lunch but they refused to attend us. we were told there was an unfortunate event in the kitchen but we saw 3 people inside of it. the person who attended us did not even have the courtesy to call us informing they were not serving lunch. without any empaty at all she asked us to leave. wont ever come back here. i have seen your reply to my comment and i have to say that this is absolutely not true. your colleagues did not offer anything upon arrival, they did via mail 20' after we left. in fact the person in charge of reservations did not even know that we had made a booking. im sorry but either you are lying or your colleagues did not tell you the truth.

My bad score is for the after-sales service offered by this company. When we went to this place this summer, when it was time to pay, after the first attempt to pay by card the waitress (a very friendly girl) told me that the POS had given her an error and the payment had not been made, so I made a second payment with another card. My surprise came when I looked at the bank account and saw that they had charged me with the first payment. Understanding that it was simply a technical problem, I contacted the company to tell them what happened and showing them the two similar charges from that day on my accounts... the fact is that to this day I still have not received any type of response. I believe that the after-sales service for a company should be as important as the "on-site" service and it is a shame to look so bad with a client for things like this...

The place is beautiful and that is clear. The staff is friendly but the service is very slow. Food with a lot of cilantro and no salt is not worth what it costs. Wine at 8 euros a glass, basic supermarket wine. Spritz 15 euros. They have denied us a table that we wanted and it was left empty. We had to wait for the bill at the entrance and the person was not that friendly.

It is being explored by the owners of Hotel Guadiana, so the concept is a luxury bar. The space is very pleasant and the service is friendly. It's a problem due to the lack of security in the pool area and the fact that the staff understand practically no Portuguese. It is located next to the river and provides a very pleasant moment. I recommend the visit.

Excellent place and when you think everything is good; Like having a swimming pool, for children sun loungers for €30/day we rent 4 and we barely used them due to two very unwanted and highly explosive and destabilizing situations for anyone and any family group that deigns to go to this place is having to take it with a "couple of steaks" armed with rich people, who if they wanted the public place just for them could do so, renting this space exclusively for them. And even though what makes anyone most wrong is; I pay €500 to have lunch and use 4 chairs and then get messages from employees saying that other people's children were bothering them...!? Those who go to sleep there for €60 I find it at least unusual and very unpleasant, like any self-respecting tourist. We had booked another day again, of course we're not going, to go with people whose word is worth more than that of Tuga who pays the expenses and is good and polite people and even with a French couple who were certainly warned. It shocked me a lot. Then another peculiarity, I also have animals in restaurants but I don't take them to restaurants and stray cats that shouldn't exist there, which, as the law indicates, except for support dogs for the visually impaired and/or disabled, please note, otherwise is expressly prohibited.

Such a lovely place. The location is amazing. The decor and set up of the place is 1st class looking over the river to Spain. The food was top notch and the drinks were even better. I have to give a massive shout out to Gurwinder who made a good day a truly great day. Highly recommended

Very beautiful place. Beautiful atmosphere. Nice service. The food was very good. The minus is that they cannot make good coffee in the style of cappuccino, flat white, etc. I didn't have good Italian coffee anywhere in Portugal. Most coffee shops in the Czech Republic and other surrounding countries make good coffee.
