There are 2 restaurants together, Casa do Peixe Assado + Coração do Marquez, open kitchen and you can see the cooks. It has a toilet. We came at around 12:30 pm, in the first week of July, a Monday. It has 2 indoor rooms each with more than 10 tables and outside for 2 streets, lots of seats, in my opinion it could serve 100 There were no grilled sardines (maybe because it was Monday), we ordered grilled cuttlefish 4/5☆, cod à braz 4/5☆ and sea bream 4.5/5. At the next table, a beautiful cataplana was served. The prepared dishes took 15 minutes to arrive. The flavor of the food is seasoned 4.5/5☆, it could have had 1 or 2 more potatoes or vegetables, it is reasonably well served. The waitresses are learning to work (learning the glasses and names of sweets and foods). Some employees (not all) have difficulty speaking Portuguese but make a notable effort to understand and make themselves understood, they can also speak in English. Dessert was a generously sized slice of pudding and pie.

The food is truly rubbish, the treatment is worse than bad, they charge you for what you don't order and on top of that they put borders, mine and my wife's food stayed on the plate, specifically grilled cod, €60 thrown in the trash and You complain and you're not right, they deceive you or they rip you off, they bring you some starters to fill your mouth while you wait, according to the waiter, four olives and a tub of butter and another tub of sardine pâté, everything is very bad and on the bill almost €5 total, a scam. The place is totally inadvisable, and we know Portugal and it is the only place that we know of where the food is inedible.

The truth is that we loved it! We would return without hesitation. The grilled cod is spectacular but you have to order it 1 for two as it is huge. All delicious and very very well priced. The waiter Varela is charming. Thank you so much!

Disappointment!!!!!The tenderloins were dry and the sauce was greasy. The spaghetti was rubbery and dry. The breadings were toasted. We ordered a dose and were given delivery as if it were a half dose. Furthermore, our orders were changed and the food was missing. The service provided by you was rude and by the lady it was even good. I do not recommend. I will never set foot there again!!!

We entered the Grill attracted by the fish menu and we loved the place. We ordered cod gratin, Portuguese steak and soup of the day and they also had many fish of the day at a very good price. Restaurant does not deserve the name of restaurant. Industrial menus such as the 3-minute breaded escalope, the much thicker tomato slice ?. Tourist trap, go your way even when the boss gives you an enchanting smile!!
Horrible food, vegetables were soggy and heated not fresh, seafood tasted like rubber, beef was thin and bland, rice was heated up not freshly made, but hey the French fries were fresh. Disgrace to someone who visits Portugal for the first time and is served food like this and is left to think this is Portuguese cuisine. Stay away horrible experience. This is criminal!
