“A Casa du Bacallao sounds incredible! It is a restaurant specialized in quality Portuguese food, with specialties in cod and rice. The atmosphere is close and familiar, and the place makes you feel at home. Even though it gets quite crowded, the quality of the food and service make it worth it. Definitely recommended if you are looking for an authentic culinary experience.“

“I came here for lunch during the week in July.
I was very impressed with the salad and seafood display. We tried the shoe rack and the stupe and it was very good.
The dish of the day with menu is 10 euros. It varies every day of the week. There is also soup.
Staff, especially the owner, extremely friendly. It has a terrace, a small terrace and an interior room. It's best to book because it's very busy. There is Wi-Fi.“

“Absolutely delicious lunch at this lovely local restaurant. Highly recommend the seafood rice, salada mista and sangria. Lovely sitting outside in the shade - a really pleasant quiet spot.

“Un petit restaurant de quartier, le personnel est accueillant et s'occupe bien des clients.
Nourriture portugaise simple et bonne, les gros mangeurs trouveront les portions un peu justes. Prix 12€ par personne.
Parking: Ne pas se garer devant c'est toujours plein. 100 mètres un peu plus loin vous trouverez un grand parking où il y a toujours des places de libres.“

“The best Berlin balls I've ever eaten and with a wide variety of flavors and pastas
The first time I tried it was on the beach but as there were no vendors on the beach at this time of year, we went in search of the pastry and were even more surprised by the variety.
Every time I go to the Algarve, I will always have to go there for a quick break ?
I recommend the experience“
“This is a great fish market. It also has plenty of fruits and vegetables, too. On a Wednesday in early March, there is a lot of free on-the-street parking in the area. That is likely not to be the case during the summer. Like Tavira's mercado municipal, the prices at the market in Vila Real de San Antonio have increased due to tourists, expats, and vendors taking full advantage of the increasing popularity of the eastern Algarve.“

“A true central "Tasco" in Vila Real de Santo António. Small, pleasant, tidy and welcoming space.I was served by an experienced waiter who alone dominated the entire restaurant with speed, politeness and dynamism.I don't recommend it for children due to the limited space. Parking can be at the door or in the surrounding streets but always close to the site as Vila Real is small and everything is close by.Typical restaurant serving traditional Portuguese cuisine with 2 or 3 daily dishes.Ideal for retired couples or singles or passengers who want to eat well and cheaply.Good experience to sit, watch some news, drink a glass of wine, eat and walk...“

“Every time we come to Portugal WE REPEAT!
Food of excellent quality, I recommend the typical stews, mussels, clams, fried choco and all grilled food, both meat and fish!
Very good desserts!
Excellent service, very clean and with a cozy family atmosphere.“
“We discovered this wonderful restaurant in May and had to go back in October. Both times we had superb food and service. I highly recommend Di Vino’s for anyone going to Portugal. They have a sign stating “Life is too short for bad wine”. They live up to this slogan with their food, as well as their wine.“

“It’s a good restaurant, but it’s nowhere what it used to be. 10 or 15 years ago this was the best place the eat in Monte Gordo, but now it has become so popular that you usually have a 30 minute minimum wait to get a table, then when you sit down they’re rushing you to order and eat quickly so that the next client can sit. The food is still very good, but I don’t know if it’s worth dealing with the hassle to eat there.“
“(Translated by Google) I was very suspicious when reading the comments but I am going to give you my most honest opinion: Local... Nice and cozy. Service. Improvable, bland, a simple smile or a small kind gesture does not cost anything. Meal. Simple cod and SPECTACULAR seafood rice. The best of the house. Rich, tasty, generous in prawns, clams and mussels. For 2 and we ate 4. Price... Affordable. The rice €37. In summary, if you fancy a seafood rice is your place. Another question. Patience, speed is not his thing(Original)Recelaba mucho al leer los comentarios pero os voy a dar mi mas sincera opinion: Local.. Bonito y acogedor. Servicio. Mejorable, sosos, una simple sonrisa o algún pequeño gesto amable no cuesta nada. Comida. Bacalao simple y Arroz de marisco ESPECTACULAR. Lo mejor de la casa. Rico, Sabroso, generoso en gambas, almejas y mejillones. Para 2 y comimos 4. Precio.. Asequible. El arroz 37€. En resumen, si os apetece un arroz marisco es vuestro sitio. Otra cuestion. Paciencia, la rapidez no es lo suyo“

“This place is outside the commercial area of the town, but it is usually quite busy.
It has a fairly extensive list of references for what is usually normal in this area. It has a charcoal grill and is famous for chicken, frango grelado.
The clams we have ordered, very good, magnificent.
The service is attentive, something rare here, and the prices are normal.
Highly recommended.“

“Restaurant with a varied menu. We ate fish, meat and Italian food and everything was very well prepared. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff is friendly. I leave the note that there should be desserts that are more appealing to children. Fair prices.“

“Divine razor clam feijoada. The girl who served us was super friendly. Fast. Desserts, which is the best? Of the 3, perhaps the coconut and honey pie, which they recommended to us. Excellent price-quality ratio. The only shame was the noise made by a large group of girls, but the restaurant is obviously not to blame. I will always come back here, for work or pleasure.“
