Tasty food, normal presentation. Very noisy and stressful environment, the behavior of the "despacha" is notorious and is to make tables quickly to seat other customers again? The sparkling wine sangria was a disappointment; very weak, product with no quality whatsoever!! We used the apple, the only fruit in the sangria... the price we paid for the sangria was a real steal!!! I don't recommend it.

The service was quick, the waiter was friendly. We ordered dishes of the day. We made a reservation the day before, so we didn't have to wait. The quality of the food does not justify the queues at the door.

It’s a good restaurant, but it’s nowhere what it used to be. 10 or 15 years ago this was the best place the eat in Monte Gordo, but now it has become so popular that you usually have a 30 minute minimum wait to get a table, then when you sit down they’re rushing you to order and eat quickly so that the next client can sit. The food is still very good, but I don’t know if it’s worth dealing with the hassle to eat there.

Great service for great food. At lunch, the monkfish and shrimp pasta and the fried squid were delicious and generously served! I was sorry I hadn't gone there for dinner to have an açorda.
Very good food. It's best to go early even when it opens otherwise the queue will be long. It's always good to come back, everything is always very good!

Our last night here in Portugal - We ordered prawns and sardines to start and 2 x pork tenderloins wilh fries and extra salad with 2 peppercorn sauces for mains ..: only one tenderloin came with no fries or extra salad or sauce ……what we received was tasty but we are so disappointed and to top it all the owner’s son was too busy serving other clients to come over and put it right or apologise …very disappointed - we’ve been coming to this restaurant for years - this is definitely our last visit!! No way to serve your loyal client base!
