After climbing to the monastery and beautiful views, it is worth eating here. Tasty food, silence, great service and atmosphere. It's worth stopping here at least for a moment. We were here with 4 adults.

Well prepared, typically Portuguese regional cuisine. Good wine list.
Well located space with an extraordinary view over the Douro
Friendly and efficient service.
Very popular on weekends, which leads to the exhaustion of several options on the menu, which are not very extensive,

Parking: Free own parking and plenty of space nearby

Kid-friendliness: Very spacious both inside and outside.

Homemade Portuguese food; stunning view; and the service with a smile! This was São Leonardo! What a (truly) hidden gem! Book in advance as walk ins can wait over an hour during the weekends! We had the bacalhau (cod fish) with mashed potatoes and it was one of the best dishes of our trip to Portugal! Total bill for 4 with wine and sparking water: 72 EUR

Parking: Parking is not hard but requires some driving skills once full
