Petiscos da Bó Gusta

The restaurant does not accept reservations. When we got there, we waited about 20 minutes for a table, nothing special. The atmosphere is pleasant, typical decoration of the region.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
We ordered stuffed cornbread and mincemeat as a starter, which were both delicious. The dish we ordered was the bo gusta steak. Very beautiful plating and overall it was tasty, we just thought the meat had very little seasoning, however we ordered the meat medium rare and in that regard it didn't fail. On point ??
For dessert we ordered the passion fruit cheesecake and the brigadeiro and caramel cheesecake. They weren't amazing but they weren't bad either.
Overall it was a pleasant experience. We would go back there for dinner.

Wonderful restaurant and snack bar with a fantastic atmosphere right in the center of Gerês.

Without a reservation, we spent around 15m outside waiting for a table (Waiting time depends on how many people are sitting and have finished eating, so don't expect the time to always be the same.)

We chose to order some snacks and share, we were really satisfied.

The dishes were:

Mince that was divine, tender and well seasoned with wine and vinegar mustard sauce.

There were 6 pataniscas, where we savored all the flavor required in this snack.

The bread stuffed with Bacon, Cheese and mayonnaise was divine.

A goat's cheese toast with lettuce and cherrie tomatoes, which has nothing to do with a typical pressed mixed toast.

A dose of homemade fries to accompany.

Everything well prepared and well balanced doses.

A space that I intend to return to do more than just snacks.

Very good food, top service, it was a shame for the snobbish couple next to us who couldn't stop complaining about everything and anything, and praising the employees who dealt with this couple. I highly recommend it, very good post

We ordered the Steak Steak €32, portion for two people, rare, it was tasty however the meat arrived at the table cold and dry, overcooked.

We ordered red fruit cheesecake dessert and it looked like it had been made 2 weeks ago.

The first time it was full and the wait took a long time. We went another day earlier and it was worth it. All is well. Very good beef and also good lamb. Excellent mixed grill for children. Good house wine.

The entrance was great. As our main meal, we ordered a salad and a meat dish from Bó Gusta, where the salad, rice and potatoes were great, but the meat was overcooked, making the meat rubbery.

Lovely lunch, with great veal chops, sea bream and bacalao, friendly helpful service in a buzzy environment. Highly recommended.
