What a great surprise to find such a great restaurant in this small town. Lovely atmosphere and fantastic food. Seafood risotto dish of the meal but everything was a very high standard and one of the best meals of our trip

Food was OK, portions small for the price. I would have given a higher rate if the service was nicer. We felt that other tables were treated with more care than us and had to wait a longer time in between courses (which left us feeling a bit ignored). The cheese tart was great though.

This is superb, book now and make the trip, you will experience a Michelin listing before it gets listed. This is a very excellent gourmet experience, the chef has been skilled in multiple top kitchens and has now come back to her home town to cook up a storm. The food is a modern take on Portuguese cuisine, so very familiar flavours but with a finesse you usually only find in the best restaurants listed in the guide. Of course, what you don’t get here is the factory like approach that you find in some Michelin restaurants, instead you find a skilled chef cooking from the heart. If your a couple, recommendation would be to book a table on the terrace rust overlooks the bay, a permanent setting for a fantastic meal. We have eaten in the best restaurants globally and we would rank this in the same league, do yourself a favour and book a table. Go. Experience excellence.
