Everything was fine, there was only a menu of the day, but it was excellent, €10 per person and it came with soup, main course and dessert. Very homemade and traditional food, thank you. ☺️
Staying at the municipal camping we decided to find the nearest restaurant. There were four of us each having 2 beers each (8 in total) bread and olives for starters, then barbecued pork steaks with rice and chips plus chocolate mousse for dessert. Grand total of 52 euros! Our server I think was the owner was very welcoming and super friendly and even called us a taxi to take us back to the campsite. Highly recommend.

On our visit to Vimioso, at the entrance to it on the N218 we saw this steakhouse and we did not hesitate to stop when we saw several cars parked in front, we entered and asked if we could eat since we did not have a reservation.They gave us the choice of a table inside the dining room of the steakhouse or outside on the covered terrace and we opted to stay on the terrace.They only had a menu of 12 euros per person that consisted of soup for the first course and chicken steak for the second.Without a doubt the best chicken steak we have eaten to date in Portugal, the portions are abundant and everything was very good, even the bread invited us to eat it alone, it reminded us of our Galician bread baked in a wood-fired oven.The bread thing stood out because on our frequent visits to Portugal the price they charge for bread leaves a lot to be desired.For dessert we had homemade egg custard and Oreo mousse.We drank mineral water and they also offered us house wine, an invitation that we declined as we had to continue driving.Without a doubt a place we will return to if we return to Vimioso.
