My visit to the smoked meat fair was completely spoiled by a trip to Tasca do Meio. The shell stew had good potatoes, beans and meat to match. The room was filled with smoke for about 20 minutes, a sign of lack of exhaustion...not even an apology or explanation. When it came time to pay for the dose they served, it turned into two and a simple meal cost almost 70 euros, to the point where I felt robbed. It will be difficult to return to Vinhais until I forget, restaurants like these will mean that many will not repeat the experience of traveling 250km to go to Vinhais.

Men posted on a slate in the street, which only lists the soup, main course and dessert, everything else paid separately, including the salad that came with the food. The bill is made in my head by the owner, without us having access to any price consultation list, the invoice ends up being detailed, a huge scam when presenting the bill, too expensive for what was served. The fruit salad with honey is the only thing to praise!

Very bad experience very expensive price posted outside dish of the day at 13€ when paying for drinks coffees and bread all paid separately and an extra dose paid at the end that was not ordered...Frankly to be avoided!!!

We ate Ensopado de Borrego, Troutas de Escabeche and Grilled Veal, the dessert was crème fraîche and roasted quinces. It was all very good. Mr. Americo is very nice.
