It is not possible to pay with an ATM card ? for me it is a negative point. It's rare to have money in your pocket. The toast was very good and the smoothie was good too. The service was also good.

We are in 2024 and there are still places that prefer to save a few euros at the end of the month rather than have the convenience of an ATM terminal. It would be accepted if it were a village tavern, except that after COVID, some of these taverns now have one. I wonder what else they are saving on (Hygiene? Food safety?)...

I come here every weekend to have coffee and read a book, it’s one of the best places in Viseu.I must point out the consistency of the business: you always get the same quality, both on products and service.The WiFi is good but there are no plugs, so don’t even think to come here to work, which also maintains this as a place to enjoy and relax either by yourself or with family and friends.The only downside I must point out is the additional €0,60 for soy milk. The normal is a range of 20-30 cents (the normal should be no extra fee at all imho) so it’s a bit of an exaggerated fee but again, it’s also always a good warm latte.And there are very nice vegetarian options in bagels and toasts, which I believe can me made vegan too.And one interesting remark, it’s a franchising, which you wouldn’t tell.All in all, great place!Ps - bring cash! They don’t accept cards.

Nice place, well-made caramel macchiato, the chicken pie was great! My mother-in-law ordered the toast and said it was delicious!The only downside is that they don't accept ATMs, which would be a plus, given that the place is beautiful, it's worth the visit!

I've been going to this cafe for years and I'm a regular customer (in the summer I go there almost every weekend). I've always liked it, I've always received good service until today.... After waiting 30 minutes for toast and tea, I asked the employee about the waiting time, I was told that they had a lot of orders and that they only had one employee in the kitchen. So far so good, they had a full house and I understand the situation. I don't understand why a man who I think is the owner or manager (I've seen him there for years) came straight after and treated me with 2 stones in his hand, without apologizing, saying that it's not his fault if customers arrive and there are 50 toasts in line to leave.... zero friendliness... very disappointed by the attitude and thus customers are lost.
Terrible attendance!!! Super slow service! I ordered a mixed toast and it was completely burnt. Experience not to be repeated! I won't be back!

Delightful coffeehouse in the heart of the beautiful city of Viseu. The sweets are in perfect equilibrium although I do recommend the scone with blueberry jam or the salted caramel muffin! The space itself is quite lovely and usually the street is quiet and far enough from traffic to allow you to relax! You can also enjoy you favorite caffeinated drink with a scrumptious smoked salmon and fresh cheese baggle! The price range is a tad on the expensive side.
Vegetarian options: A shame the vegetarian options are usually paid with an extra fee.
