Half Arroba - Mercearia dos Sentidos

It was exactly what I needed for my one-day trip to Viseu. Tasty, peaceful, and full of kindness.

Such a wonderful lunch at Half Arroba today, this is a very special place! The food is delicious, the atmosphere relaxed and the staff so friendly. There is a super menu to choose from, all vegan, and dogs are very welcome too. I also recommend a visit to their shop offering handmade/homemade/cruelty free and local produce including organic fruit and veg, oils soaps and shampoo bars, zero waste cleaning products (bring your own container to refill or a recycled bottle or jar is provided).. all sorts of wonderful things to delight 🙂 I even have a takeaway vegan friendly chocolate covered donut to enjoy with my cup of tea in a moment. Wow! A great experience, we will be back ❤️

Stayed a few days in the area, and found this fabulous vegan place to eat. We visited every day with our dog, who was very welcome.We enjoyed the lunch menu , and on our last day had the brunch menu.All the food we ordered was beautifully presented and delicious. Luisa, Miguel and staff are very friendly & nothing too much trouble. The space is very calming & spacious, which is also a shop for vegan & eco supplies.A must visit whilst in Viseu. Half.Arroba deserves to be a huge success.

A really cozy and warm surprise to find this restaurant in Viseu. We've had such an amazing experience on the first visit we had to come back again in less than a week ?. The dishes are delightfully harmonic and you can notice the chef has special attention to the details on each plate. From the starters to the desert there was nothing that was not impeccably delivered and amazingly delicious. Definitely our new favorite restaurant in Viseu.

I've ate here before for a light afternoon lunch and they have summer ice creams which are delicious plus you can grab to go different selections of nuts and tea amongst other things! Love this place.

Honestly this shop and cafe is incredible. Fully vegan (apart from some local honey they sell in the shop). We had lasagna, salads, sweet potato crisps and burgers. Great flavours, textures and prices too. Child friendly (we took two of them) and dog friendly inside too (we took one) Would definitely take the trip back to there. Half Arroba has a wonderful blend of sustainable market with a cafe. The service is amazing by both owners. I highly recommend everyone to visit.

Very good products. Anyone looking to buy in bulk will find everything. I will come back and recommend.
