Beautiful restaurant, wonderful service, very nice food! We stumbled on this place after a morning of hiking near Manteigas. We walked in for lunch and were amazed at the elegance of the restaurant inside. We tried the puff pastries, steak, octopus salad, and monkfish. The almond puff pastry (savory, not sweet) was my favorite. The steak had a lovely mild flavor which was balanced by the strong local cheese. The chef even came out and greeted us once our food was brought out. I highly recommend this restaurant for a lovely lunch or dinner! Prices were probably a lot for the local area (22 euros for the steak) but very reasonable considering the elegance of the food/ presentation/ facility.
