We had a dreadful night in Virato last night. I had what was supposed to be a chicken breast, but it was a skinny dry tiny piece of chicken in a disgusting sauce. Ate a mouthful and had to spit it out. We have come here often, but the attitude of the owner has really changed. He is a money grabber!! I ate both, but was still charged for the full plate. My husband couldn’t eat his fransesinha as I had no edible food. We left and went to another lovely restaurant where we paid for a second dinner! Buyer beware. Never again.

Excellent restaurant. We had the prawns in garlic and black chorizo for starters, both excellent. Also had their in house blue sangria which we were hesitant to try but really enjoyed. Very refreshing on a hot day. Main courses were curry shrimp, house special salmon and lamb chops.. Everything was amazing! The great food combined with friendly efficient staff made it a fantastic experience. Highly recommend.
Fabulous food, authentic Portugese cuisine with very friendly people. The selection of wines and foods is excellent and the service is fast and helpful. The Biscuit Cake was recommended and was wonderful. Would advise booking as it’s popular and busy. Definitely worth a return visit for us and one of the top restaurants in Portimao.

Very friendly service, but the food is completely tasteless. When I arrived at the space, the dishes of the day were already sold out, so I ordered a bitoque. A completely inedible and tasteless steak came. Directly from the freezer to the griddle, with just a pinch of salt.Another disappointment in the district of Viseu.I do not recommend.

Dirty glasses, incomplete service and a lot of noise from the owner...I asked for a replacement glass that was dirty. Another one came just as dirty, with lipstick. I asked for sauce for the suckling pig, it only came when we were in the middle of our meal. I asked for bread and olives. Only the olives came. Ordered soup, it didn't come...
