Waited 30 minutes for my meal in the bright sun. Other customers arrived after me and received their order before me. As I was made to pay in advance (tip included) I was not able to leave. The chicken was as hard as wood, probably cooked and recooked 3 times and impossible to eat with plastic utensils. We would have done better to improve the service and the food rather than renovate the facade of this place. I will NEVER go back there in my life.

On Wednesday August 31st, 2022, while driving south on Havre-Aubert Island we paused for lunch at Le Marie-Luc Restaurant situated at 277 Chemin du Bassin. This is a small takeout and order from the window type restaurant on the side of the road with no places to sit, except for a few picnic tables at the back. Sitting at the tables, we had a long 30-minute wait time in the sun before getting our order, while speaking with other travelers of the Montreal Region. Finally, our lunch order was ready: a couple of hotdogs dressed in cheese and onions, two small poutines and a couple of drinks. We had a relaxing lunch, and the restaurant staff were very friendly.

Grandma's snack. :) A very pleasant hot dog garnished with cabbage. Very friendly service, but a bit long. I recommend for classic snack items if you are not in a hurry or order in advance.
