I gave five stars, however I believe a much nicer atmosphere would be to listen to relaxing, authentic Japanese music. Listening to hip hop music (what I would expect to hear in a bar) took away what could have been a much nicer experience. The food and lovely servers keeps me coming back. Please change the music to reflect your beautiful Japanese culture!

EDIT: changing my 5 star review from 2 years ago to 1! This is the second time that we have been served spoiled tuna. The first time I thought it was a mistake and now I realize they are intentionally trying to make people sick! Avoid at all costs unless you want to pay $70 for sushi and immediately loose you appetite. Not only does the tuna look disgusting the smell was even worse.

Saw great reviews here and decided to try out this place a couple weeks ago. Was extremely impressed. Last week I had take out from another place and last night decided to go back to Yuu. As far as I’m concerned, this place is 100% one of the best sushi places in the West Island. It’s a must try! I just hope they maintain the quality, freshness, and price as the word starts to inevitably get out. Do yourself a favour and try it. Both times I ordered the Art Collection platter

Seriously impeccable quality for the price!!! I saw this place on tiktok and had to see it for myself. We got the Collection Aventure and it was above and beyond our expectations. I mean, just look at it! Presentation was exceptional, service was welcoming, and quality+value was unmatched. Highly highly recommend!

Highly recommend! Passing through on a trip from Ontario. Good reviews, so decided to give it a try. So happy we did! Amazing presentation, food is delicious and great value. Personally for what you get I feel they should be charging more. Will definitely come back. Restaurant is also very clean.

Fantastic spot for sushi takeout. The service is fast and friendly. I usually get the rainbow poke bowl. Their poke bowl is way better than most places because they use sashimi slices instead of little cubes. Also, they really pack it with edamame and fresh salad, so it's very healthy. The ingredients are always good quality.
