This restaurant has been around Old Beloeil for almost 20 years and just recently changed ownership. Its now part of a small group of restaurants in the neighborhood headed by a chef turned entrepreneur. The atmosphere here is relaxing with good music, beautiful floral decorations, friendly and welcoming staff and a no rush attitude. Getting your food might take a little longer especially when they are busy but its a place designed to enjoy your overall experience not just the meal. There are many seating options both inside and outside with a total of three stories of outside terrasse and 2 stories inside. On a beautiful summer day, everyone wants to be seated outside! The view you want is of the Richelieu river and the Mont Saint Hilaire mountain which are beautiful. The dishes are elegant, tasty and original. Our server Léar was very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and quite personable. A high attention here is given to detail which is much appreciated by demanding customers like myself!

I had high hopes for this restaurant and they completely disappointed me. First of all, the service is atrocious, the waiters are unwelcoming and don’t do their jobs (no water, rude and don’t bring the essentials like plates and ustensiles). We had to ask multiple times for little things and when we did, they did so with extrême annoyance. Not only that, we ordered two small plates and it took the food 1h30 to arrive. The fries in the plate were stale and cold. Not only that, we ordered the mussels and most of them were either empty or disgusting. There were insects everywhere even preventing us from eating! And now for the cherry on top, we waited 20 minutes just to get the machine in order to pay… If I could give 0 stars I would.

On a nice summer day I have to say that the terrace by the water with the view is nothing other than incredible. Food is very good, everything we ordered was nicely presented and great flavours. I found the bavette a little chewy but still tasty. Service was good.

Best restaurant in the area. If you go for the mussels or steak & frites you will not be disappointed. Nice patio in the summer. Only wish the dessert menu was better!

While I personally enjoyed my order, my friends did not have the same experience with their meal.
Also, the service was quite slow, and even simple requests like refilling water were not attended to promptly.
On the bright side though, the venue is very charming and inviting. Just for the view, it's worth the detour
