Star rating is quick and I'd rather rate quickly than do nothing at all. It remains a contribution which, although personal, can guide consumers looking for a good restaurant. I don't always have time to write a detailed review. However, I understand that you are proactive and surely looking for solutions to improve your product. Now you seem surprised to get 2 stars. So I would like to know, if I give you 5, how many I could give to Mugaritz in Spain, or to Narisawa in Tokyo? I can't rate based on what I expect to get at an establishment like yours. That said, the sub I was served was disappointing on every level. The same sandwich, ordered at a traditional fast-food restaurant, would have seemed like a culinary masterpiece in comparison. Paying around fifteen dollars, plus taxes and tip, for a dish of this quality, at dinner time, is very expensive in my opinion. There are a lot of restaurants in Montreal where, despite higher rent, you can reinvent traditional dishes in a much more creative way and, above all, at a lower cost.
